Cialde di Montecatini are delicious, light and nutritious biscuits typical of the famous Tuscan spa town. They are two crumbly layers that contain a filling of almonds and sugar inside.
Produced following the traditional recipe with flour, milk, eggs, sugar and almonds from Apulia, they are excellent as a dessert at the end of a meal with vin santo, passiti and moscati wines, and delicious with ice cream creams and mousses.
