Le Mezze maniche Integrali Le Eccellenze di P&V is made from wholemeal durum wheat semolina that, compared to traditional pasta, is the result of a different processing of the grain.

There are many reasons for preferring wholemeal pasta to traditional pasta. These are mainly related to the low fat content, the high fibre content and the presence of important vegetable proteins that are healthier than those of refined flours.

The ideal is not to weigh down the pasta dish with rich, fatty sauces, but to prefer a sauce of sautéed vegetables seasoned raw with extra-virgin olive oil.
